The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, with responsibilities spanning design, risk management, client liaison and governance for responsible AI. Located in London, with flexibility for UK engagements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI/agentic engineering with production deployments.
• Strong ML/DL foundations and model evaluation knowledge.
• Experience delivering AI for customer growth, personalization or service.
• Proficient Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to lead engineering teams and manage delivery.
• Expertise in planning, estimation and risk management.
• Clear stakeholder communication and governance for Responsible AI.
• Experience with cloud, APIs, CI/CD and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of customer AI and agentic solutions.
• Review code, prompts, retrieval pipelines, and designs for quality.
• Define technical design, model choice, and cost considerations.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early with options.
• Establish engineering practices: code review, testing, CI/CD.
• Assess proofs of concept vs production readiness for scale.
• Coordinate with client teams on environments, data access and security.
• Develop and coach AI engineers and data scientists.
• Share reusable patterns and contribute to the Craft.
