Job summary

RSM UK is recruiting a Business Analyst within the Internal Tax Technology team to drive AI and automation use cases across the Tax service line. You will work with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery leads to ensure requirements are clearly defined and aligned with delivery roadmaps.

You will focus on end-to-end business analysis, requirements definition, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in tax.
• Experience in release-based or agile delivery models.
• Ability to translate complex tech into business terms.
• Strong process analysis and stakeholder facilitation skills.
• Experience in data transformation programmes.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com and user stories.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Experience running or supporting UAT for complex tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews aligned to Data Automation milestones.
• Extract and document high-level and detailed business requirements for Tax services.
• Define use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules with stakeholders.
• Support backlog refinement with clear, testable requirements and dependencies.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability across delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to reflect business needs in designs.
• Support UAT planning, including test scenarios and evidence for sign-off.
• Document dependencies, risks and issues arising from requirements and testing.
• Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
