Job summary

Accenture in the UK is seeking an AI and Data Architecture Associate Manager to join our AI and Data practice in Bristol or Edinburgh. You will design scalable data platforms, guide data architecture strategy and mentor junior architects as part of delivering client projects.

The role requires experience in AI-enabled data architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and strong client-facing skills. You will collaborate across teams to create innovative data and AI solutions and help drive

Qualifications

• Strategic thinker with analytical and creative mindset.
• Experience building AI-enabled data architecture.
• Commercial experience on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with relevant certifications.
• Competency around AI / Agentic AI.
• Background in software development, data engineering or data science with aim to transition into AI/Data Architecture.
• Expertise in data domains including modelling, pipelining, governance, and data consumption.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake and Palantir.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in client-facing environments with architecture delivery.
• Experience leading technical teams across project streams.

Responsibilities

• Assist client teams in designing and implementing scalable data solutions under guidance.
• Identify gaps in clients’ architecture and support solution development with senior colleagues.
• Shape strategy and roadmaps for improving client AI and Data architectures.
• Provide ongoing architectural support for delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in client workshops, prepare documentation and follow-up actions.
• Gather requirements and ensure deliverables meet client needs with senior support.
• Contribute to architectural thought leadership across client and internal forums.
• Mentor junior architects and promote best practices in patterns and standards.
• Prototype new technologies and develop proofs of concept to inform recommendations.
• Establish relationships with client stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery outcomes.
