Job summary

Accenture in Manchester is seeking an AI and Data Architecture Senior Manager to lead design and delivery of scalable data and AI solutions. You will shape architecture strategies and partner with clients to drive cloud adoption and data integrity.

You'll mentor senior and junior architects, collaborate across teams, and lead workshops to translate business needs into robust technical architectures. This role requires mobility onsite with clients.

Qualifications

Strategic thinker with analytical and creative mindset.
Stay current with emerging AI and data trends and apply to client opportunities and solutions.
Experience building AI-enabled data architecture.
Proficient with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with relevant certifications.
Competency with AI/Agentic solutions.
Background in software development, data engineering or data science.
Expertise across data domains including data modelling, data engineering, data governance, and data consumption.
Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Anthropic.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in client-facing environments and architecting complex data solutions.
Experience leading technical teams across project streams.

Responsibilities

Lead teams in designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern technologies.
Identify gaps in clients’ architecture and support analysis and solution development.
Shape strategy and roadmaps for improving client AI and Data architectures.
Provide ongoing architectural support for delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
Facilitate client workshops with preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
Engage with clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment of deliverables.
Drive architectural thought leadership across forums and initiatives.
Mentor junior architects and support professional development.
Lead innovation by prototyping new technologies and PoCs.
Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders to ensure alignment.
