Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking a Technical Manager for its AI consultancy to turn AI ideas into working solutions and lead client-delivered projects. You will work closely with clients to define problems, build proofs of concept, and contribute hands-on coding to move ideas toward a live service.

You will coordinate delivery with partner firms, review code, and guide teams to high standards while using Claude Code and related tools daily, ensuring quality and scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building AI solutions in a consulting or tech setting.
• Hands-on coding skills in Python and rapid prototype development.
• Regular use of AI coding tools to write and review code.
• Understanding of large language models and integrating them with client data.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider.

Responsibilities

• Build proofs of concept quickly, writing code and using AI tools.
• Define client success criteria and demonstrate results.
• Coordinate delivery teams across partner firms.
• Review code and designs, providing clear feedback.
• Move concepts toward a live, secure service.
