Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Technical Manager for its AI consultancy to turn AI ideas into live solutions. You will work closely with clients, lead proofs of concept, and guide delivery teams across partner firms while using Claude and other AI tools daily to accelerate high standards.

Joining requires a degree or equivalent experience, strong coding skills, cloud knowledge, and a practical view of moving from proof of concept to live service. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building technology or AI solutions in a consulting setting.
• Hands-on coding skills (e.g., Python) and rapid prototype development.
• Experience with AI tooling and at least one major cloud provider.

Responsibilities

• Build proofs of concept quickly, writing code and using AI tools.
• Coordinate delivery teams from partner firms and Grant Thornton.
• Review code and designs, providing clear feedback to clients.
• Explain technical options to non-technical audiences and support proposals.
