Our client is seeking AHU Commissioning Engineers to support their regional client portfolio, including technical and engineering needs. They are a successful HVAC company that owns three different manufacturers, operates across 65 countries, and has been in operation for over 100 years.

They are looking for an AHU Commissioning Engineer to join their team due to expansion across the UK. The engineer will travel around London, providing technical support, commissioning, and diagnostic work across various contracts such as banks, insurance companies, data centres, and gyms.

The duties include technical support, commissioning, and diagnostics on AHU and control systems. The engineer will also support clients and fellow engineers, ensure health and safety obligations are met, coordinate with the project delivery team, liaise with planners, maintain site cleanliness, and manage critical spares lists.

AHU Commissioning Engineer - Position Requirements

• Understanding of HVAC / AHU equipment
• Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, HVAC control software
• City and Guilds 2079 or NVQ 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to pass or hold a DBS and security clearance

AHU Commissioning Engineer - Position Remuneration

• Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 based on experience
• 50-hour contract; 10 hours paid travel, 40 hours site time
• Overtime paid at 1.5x outside the 50 hours
• Additional travel outside contracted hours paid at 1.5x
• Overtime rates: 1.5x Mon-Sat, 2x Sun/Bank Holidays
• Company van (personal use to be discussed)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays; option to purchase up to 5 extra days
• Call out 1-7 with £150 standby, plus overtime and travel pay
