Lead Commissioning Engineer

Our client, a successful HVAC manufacturer operating across 65 countries, is seeking a Lead Commissioning Engineer to join their Data Centre Delivery Team due to expansion.

The Lead Commissioning Engineer will oversee a small site-based team of engineers and operatives, ensuring all commissioning activities are completed. The role involves close collaboration with the Control & Commissioning Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out AHU commissioning tasks according to established scripts.
2. Supervising the site team to ensure compliance with health and safety measures.
3. Working with the Project Manager to deliver the commissioning programme within the agreed timeframe and budget.
4. Traveling abroad to various Data Centres across Europe and to the company's factory in Germany as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Electrical qualifications (18th edition)
• F-gas certification
• Understanding of airflow principles and measurement of electricity, pressure, temperature, humidity
• Experience with HVAC and MODBUS systems
• Strong problem-solving skills related to mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Knowledge of Data Centres and ASHRAE Commissioning stages (L1-L5) is highly desirable
• Current and valid CSCS, PASMA/IPAF certifications
• Optional: SSSTS or SMSTS card
• Ability to commute daily to NW10, with working hours from 7:30 to 16:00
