Job description

A Commissioning Engineer is required for our client, a successful HVAC manufacturer operating in 65 countries for over 100 years, to join their project delivery team. The role is site-based in NW10, working on a Data Centre project.

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for executing Air Handling Unit (AHU) commissioning tasks according to the established script. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and other engineers to deliver the commissioning programme within the agreed timeframe and budget.

This position may require travel abroad to various Data Centres across Europe, as well as additional travel to the company's factory in Germany.

Position Requirements

• Qualification in electrical engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in HVAC is highly desirable
• Understanding of airflow principles and measurement techniques (electricity, pressure, temperature, humidity)
• Experience with working at height, MEWP, and harnesses is preferred
• Experience with HVAC and MODBUS systems
• Ability to complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Certifications: CSCS, IPAF/PASMA
• Problem-solving skills, especially with mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Living in or near London (NW10)
• Knowledge of Data Centres and ASHRAE Commissioning stages (L1-L5) is highly desirable
• Current SSSTS or SMSTS card is a plus but not essential

• Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
