Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an SME Relationship Manager for Agriculture to manage a portfolio of agriculture client groups, meeting clients face-to-face and via Microsoft Teams to understand their businesses and needs.

You will build relationships, identify opportunities for products, assess credit risk, and collaborate with product specialists to support sustainable growth, in a hybrid role across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Relationship management in the geographic area with external influencers and local business community.
• Track record of winning new business in corporate/commercial banking.
• Ability to prepare clear credit papers for new lending facilities and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with agriculture clients, offering tailored financial support.
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through relevant products and services with product specialists when needed.
• Assess and manage credit risk; prepare credit papers for new facilities and renewals using established tools.
• Encourage sustainability considerations aligned with Lloyds Banking Group ESG goals.
• Collaborate with service and delivery colleagues to resolve requests and explain the service model to clients.
• Represent the Group in meetings with professional partners and intermediaries to improve client experience.
