Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group seeks an SME Relationship Manager, Agriculture to manage a portfolio of agriculture client groups, meeting clients face-to-face and via Teams. You will identify opportunities and tailor solutions to support growth and sustainability goals.

In this hybrid role, you will travel to regional clients, build trusted relationships, assess credit needs, and collaborate with product specialists to deliver joined-up client outcomes while upholding risk-management standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business in corporate or commercial banking.
• Ability to prepare clear credit papers for new lending facilities and renewals.
• Experience building relationships with agriculture clients and local business communities.
• Strong collaboration with product specialists, service colleagues and intermediaries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with agriculture clients, tailoring support to their business goals.
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through relevant products and services with product specialists.
• Assess and manage credit risk, preparing credit papers for new facilities and renewals.
• Promote sustainable business practices aligned with the Group's ESG responsibilities.
• Work with service teams to resolve requests and explain the service model to clients.
• Represent the Group in meetings with partners and intermediaries to drive client outcomes.
