Job summary

C T Scott Ltd is seeking a Parts & Country Store Assistant to join our team and help with the day-to-day running of our Parts Department and Country Store in Scotland.

Working alongside our Parts Manager and the Service and Sales teams, you will handle customer service, parts identification, stock management and order processing in a busy agricultural parts operation. The role may suit a school leaver and offers potential apprenticeship progression, with Saturday morning shifts on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Organised and approachable
• Strong customer service mindset
• Willing to learn and develop in a rural/agricultural setting
• Interest in agriculture, machinery, engineering or parts

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, face to face and online platforms
• Identify, source and recommend parts for customers
• Process collections, dispatches and orders accurately
• Support promotions and telephone sales
• Work with Service and Sales teams to supply parts as required
• Receive, load and unload deliveries, pick/pack stock
• Maintain relationships with customers and assist stock control
• Carry out general admin and presentation of the Country Store
