Job summary

Bridgend College is seeking an Agriculture and Environment Supervisor to join our hands-on farming and teaching team in Bridgend. This full-time role (37 hours per week) combines farm management with student mentorship on our 66-hectare estate, helping to inspire the next generation of farmers.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture, have practical farm experience, and demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture.
• Hands-on experience in agricultural land, grassland, and crop management, livestock care, and machinery operation.
• Knowledge of SSSI regulations, digital record keeping, and Health & Safety standards.
• Strong communication, organisation, digital record-keeping and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with young people and maintaining professional boundaries.
