Intact Insurance, formerly RSA, is recruiting an Underwriter for Commercial Lines in Gloucester. You will underwrite and negotiate agricultural and commercial risks, build broker relationships, and apply pricing strategies to drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting from Commercial or Personal Lines or agricultural insurance background.
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify growth areas.
• Ability to build/maintain broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and negotiate Agricultural business within your authority.
• Build and maintain broker relationships through regular engagement.
• Apply pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitable growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices.
• Contribute to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas.
• Represent our brand at broker meetings, industry events and field visits as needed.
