Job summary

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Agricultural Service Engineer to join our team in the Bury St Edmunds / Dereham area. This full-time, permanent role offers up to £40,000 plus overtime, a company van, laptop and phone, and extensive training.

You will service, diagnose and repair agricultural machinery, perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, and support customers at their sites during peak periods. A full UK driving licence and willingness to work overtime are required.

• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Using laptop-based diagnostic systems
• Customer-site breakdowns and technical support
• Working on tractors, harvesting and other agricultural machinery
• Supporting customers during busy seasonal periods

What We’re Looking For

• Agricultural engineering experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Relevant Land Based Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Good communication and customer skills
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
• Full UK driving licence
