Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking an Agricultural Service Engineer to service, diagnose, and repair a range of agricultural machinery. The role covers field-based work, with a dedicated service van and company training to support ongoing professional development.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults, complete accurate job records, and deliver high-quality service to customers on-site or in the field.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on agricultural, plant or commercial vehicle equipment.
• Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.

Role Overview

• Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards

What We're Looking For

Desirable Experience

• Land Based Engineering qualification or relevant apprenticeship
• Experience using diagnostic software and modern machinery systems
• Understanding of GPS, telematics and machine control technology
• Welding and fabrication experience

Work Location

• Field-based role covering customer sites across the local region
• Dedicated service van, laptop, mobile phone and tablet provided
• Mix of planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown support
• Occasional travel for manufacturer training and development
