About the Job: Requirements and Experience

The Agricultural Sales Advisor is responsible for driving sales strategies and providing expert guidance in the production and commercialization of high-value cash crops, including fruits, avocados, coffee, and similar commodities. This role will leverage hands-on experience in Asia and Africa to expand Tiger Hill Capital’s reach into premium markets like the US and Europe.

Responsibilities include:

●Develop and execute sales strategies for cash crops (e.g., fruits, avocados, coffee) targeting wholesalers, distributors, and retailers in the US and Europe

●Provide advisory services to clients on crop cultivation, quality optimization, and market positioning based on regional expertise in Asia and Africa

●Build and maintain relationships with key buyers in target markets, ensuring consistent demand and competitive pricing

●Assess market trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements in the US and Europe to inform sales and production strategies

●Collaborate with growers and supply chain partners in Asia and Africa to enhance crop yields, sustainability, and market readiness

●Support deal structuring and risk assessment for agricultural investments and trade agreements

●Represent Tiger Hill Capital in client engagements, industry events, and trade negotiations to strengthen our network and reputation

Experience and skills needed:

●10+ years’ experience in agricultural sales and production, with a focus on cash crops such as fruits, avocados, coffee, and similar commodities

●Proven track record of growing cash crops in Asia and/or Africa and successfully selling them into US and European markets

●Established relationships with buyers, distributors, or retailers in premium markets (e.g., US supermarkets, European specialty importers)

●Deep knowledge of cash crop cultivation practices, including soil management, pest control, and harvest optimization in tropical/subtropical regions

●Experience navigating export logistics, certifications (e.g., Fair Trade, Organic), and international trade regulations

●Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, forecast demand, and develop profitable sales pipelines

Qualifications:

●Expertise in the agronomy and economics of cash crops, with a focus on fruits, avocados, and coffee

●Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to bridge cultural and market differences between producers and buyers

●Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, global team environment

●Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages spoken in Asia or Africa is a plus
