Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants are representing a leading agricultural machinery specialist recruiting a Field Service Engineer for an Essex based territory. You will service, diagnose and repair premium machinery, travel to farms within a 50 mile radius, and provide first-class technical support with a focus on quality workmanship.

The role offers structured progression, ongoing manufacturer training, a company van, laptop and mobile, plus comprehensive benefits and a clear development

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Land-Based, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
• Experience within agricultural, plant, commercial vehicle or related industries.
• Confident customer-facing communication skills.
• Seasonal overtime commitment, particularly during harvest (June–September).

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Utilise laptop-based diagnostics alongside practical engineering expertise.
• Travel to customer sites and farms within a local patch, typically within 50 miles of the depot.
• Deliver first-class customer service and technical support.
• Manage your own workload while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training programmes.
