Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, diagnose and repair premium agricultural machinery across a local Norfolk patch. You will travel to farms, using laptop diagnostics and hands-on engineering expertise, delivering top-tier service and maintaining workmanship standards.

The role emphasizes ongoing manufacturer training, structured progression and a competitive package with a company van and 8% pension.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in Land-Based, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
• Experience within agricultural, plant, commercial vehicle or related industries.
• Confident customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to commit to seasonal overtime requirements (June–September).

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Utilise laptop-based diagnostics alongside practical engineering expertise.
• Travel to customer sites and farms within a local patch, typically within 50 miles of the depot.
• Deliver first-class customer service and technical support.
• Manage your own workload while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training programmes.
