Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is seeking experienced Agency Chefs to support a range of luxury hotels and award-winning restaurants across North Yorkshire. You will join prestigious kitchens, delivering high-end culinary standards while adapting to varied assignments.

Flexible shifts and ongoing opportunities are available, with weekly pay and competitive hourly rates. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are often required to reach rural venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a minimum 2 AA Rosette kitchen.
• Strong section management and organisational skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly to new kitchens and teams.
• A professional, reliable and positive attitude.
• Relevant Food Hygiene certification.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• The ability to commute to assignments across North Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• As an Agency Chef, you'll support some of North Yorkshire's most respected hospitality businesses during busy periods, holidays and staff shortages.
• Assignments include luxury country house hotels, fine dining restaurants, gastro pubs, private estates and high-end contract catering venues.
• You'll be expected to integrate quickly into established kitchen brigades while maintaining the highest culinary standards.

Role: Agency Chef

Location: North Yorkshire

Rate of Pay: £18-£25+ per hour (depending on role and experience)
