Job summary

Hunstanton Primary School is seeking an After School Club Play Assistant/Playworker to join our friendly team in England. The role supports the After School Club, helping ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for at the end of the school day.

The successful candidate will help deliver a range of safe, creative and age-appropriate play activities, create a welcoming and inclusive environment, and work as part of a team with safeguarding in mind.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children is helpful, but attitude and commitment are valued.
• Ability to work calmly, be patient and reliable.
• Willingness to engage in safe, creative play activities.

Responsibilities

• Help with the day-to-day running of the After School Club.
• Ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for at the end of the school day.
• Support children to enjoy a range of safe, creative and age-appropriate play activities.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment and work well as part of a team.
