Job summary

St Leonard's CofE Primary School is seeking a passionate After-School Club Assistant to join the team. You will help design engaging activities, supervise children, provide snacks, and support a safe, caring environment for over 100 attendees each evening.

This permanent role runs 13 hours per week (Mon-Thu, 2:45pm–6:00pm) during 38 weeks per year, with pro rata annual leave and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme. DBS disclosure will be required and safeguarding is a priority.

Qualifications

• Calm and patient demeanour required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Ability to design engaging activities for after-school play.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and supervising after-school activities.
• Provide simple snacks for pupils and ensure their safety.
