Job summary

New Horizons Seaside Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and well-motivated person to join our After School Care Club team. The role involves supporting pupils aged 4–11, preparing refreshments, and ensuring safeguarding during after-school hours.

The position is temporary with hours 3 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Interviews are scheduled for 6 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and enjoy working with children.
• Prepare and serve refreshments for each child, observing hygiene rules and nutrition.
• Administer first aid as appropriate.
• Follow guidelines and procedures for safeguarding in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
• Be able to communicate effectively with adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Join After School Care Club team and help to maintain a safe and stimulating play environment.
• Assist with developing opportunities to encourage children's social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development through play.
• Support pupils aged 4–11 during the after-school session (3 pm–5 pm, term time).
