Job summary

We Manage Jobs(WMJobs) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced playworker to join our after school club. The role involves working with children aged 4–9 in a safe, stimulating play environment and providing high-quality care after school.

Applicants should have a Level 2 NVQ in Playwork or equivalent and relevant experience; safeguarding is a priority and the position requires an enhanced DBS disclosure and two references.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Playwork or similar.
• Experience with 4–9 year olds in a play environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality after-school care for children attending the club.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and DBS disclosure is obtained.

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced playworker to work in the after school club. Ideally applicants will have a relevant Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) or above, preferably in Playwork and have some experience of working with 4 –9 year olds in a play environment.

Successful applicants will join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating after school care for the children attending our after school club.
