Job summary

Bilton Community Primary School is seeking a proactive lead for the Afterschool Club at Bilton Primary, near Hull. The role requires adaptability, reliability and a caring approach to a diverse group of pupils aged 3–11.

The successful candidate will coordinate wraparound care, engage children in safe activities, and work with staff to support wellbeing. Training opportunities and a positive working environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a formal setting.
• Basic Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate.
• Ability to work on own initiative with self-motivation.
• Good communication with children and adults.
• Willingness to use relevant technology would be advantageous.
• Understanding of healthy eating and good dining habits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wraparound care for children aged 3–11.
• Provide a caring, secure environment through individual attention and group activities.
• Organise a range of leisure activities for attendees each day.
• Work as part of the Afterschool Club Team to support pupils and families.
