Job summary

First Step Sports Group in Conisbrough is seeking a Breakfast & After School Club Lead or Assistant to run the Morning and After School Club. You will deliver creative, play-based activities for children aged 4–11 and ensure smooth club operations.

The role involves safeguarding, building strong relationships with parents and staff, and handling light breakfasts. Term-time only with potential holiday work is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in wraparound care/holiday clubs.
• Level 2/3 childcare or playwork qualification desirable.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene training desirable (training can be provided).
• First Aid training desirable (training can be provided).
• Availability five days a week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in the day-to-day operation of the Morning and After School Club.
• Deliver an outstanding experience and be a point of contact for parents and carers.
• Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all children in your care.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and school staff.
• Prepare and serve a light breakfast/tea for attending children.
• Support the ordering and management of food and supplies.
