Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd partners with an established engineering business to recruit an Aftersales Coordinator in Hessle. You will support customers with spare parts enquiries, quotations and orders, ensuring a smooth journey from enquiry to delivery.

You will build lasting relationships, develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the continued success of the business while working in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales administration, order processing or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Confident communication skills and a proactive approach to building relationships and resolving customer queries.
• Experience using ERP, CRM or order management systems. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous, although experience with other systems is equally welcome.
• A willingness to develop technical product knowledge and an interest in understanding customer requirements.
• A collaborative, adaptable approach and the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
• Previous experience in sales would be beneficial for this role for up-selling purposes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and commercial partners, responding to enquiries and providing helpful, timely support.
• Prepare accurate quotations for spare parts and services, proactively following up on opportunities and helping customers identify suitable solutions.
• Process customer orders using ERP systems, ensuring accurate pricing, product information, delivery schedules and order confirmations.
• Keep customers informed about order progress, delivery times and transport arrangements, working collaboratively to resolve any queries or concerns.
• Work closely with internal teams to identify opportunities to improve customer service, support sales activity and contribute to wider business projects.
