Evans Halshaw Ford Lepas Walsall is recruiting an Aftersales Manager to oversee the workshop, Service Advisors and parts department, with a competitive salary and bonus potential, company car, pension and health cover.

You will bring automotive aftersales experience, a customer‑focused mindset and a proven ability to lead a team, manage budgets and drive service profitability. The role emphasises safety, CSI improvement and knowledge of vehicle legislation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warranty and repair work complies with manufacturer and company standards.
• Maximise efficiency and profitability for Service through labour, parts and materials and budgeting.
• Manage accounts, budgets and costs for the department.
• Review pricing policies and ensure adherence to legislation.
• Lead the team, set targets and KPIs to over-achieve.
• Maintain a safe working environment and health and safety compliance.
• Enhance customer service to achieve a high CSI score.

Our Evans Halshaw site Ford / Lepas Walsall are recruiting an Aftersales Manager to oversee their workshop, Service Advisors and parts department.

We are looking for a candidate with past automotive aftersales experience. Customer focus and providing excellent customer service is key. You will be a very driven and commercially minded candidate and be very comfortable in a target driven environment.

What does the role of an Aftersales Manager involve?

• Ensure all warranty and repair work is carried out adheres to manufacturer and company standards
• Maximise efficiency and profitability for the Service department through labour sales, parts and materials and constantly assessing against budget objectives
• Management of accounts, budgets and costs for the whole department.
• Regular review of pricing policies and ensuring appropriate legislation is adhered to
• Leading the team, setting clear targets and KPIs, to excel and over achieve these
• Ensure and maintain a safe working environment and that processes are followed that adhere to health and safety regulations
• Enhancing levels of customer service to achieve a high CSI score for the department

What do you need to succeed as an Aftersales Manager?

• Experience in a target driven environment with the ability to lead and motivate a team to exceed targets
• Passionate about providing exceptional levels of customer service to ensure customer retention
• Proven background in running a successful workshop or parts department.
• Strong business acumen
• Strong knowledge of consumer/vehicle legislation
