Job summary

Thompson Aero Seating in Craigavon, UK, seeks an experienced leader to expand the aftersales business, nurture client relationships and drive revenue growth within the Aftermarket division.

The role will lead strategic planning, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with engineering and operations to align aftersales strategy with product development while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing engineering or plant leadership in high‑volume auto or aircraft production.
• Proven leadership with hiring, training and leading large teams.
• Degree level (Masters preferred) or NVQ Level 7; professional body status desirable.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning to expand the aftersales business and market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships with existing customers.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to align strategies and product development.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; report progress and drive improvements.
