Job summary

DX is seeking a Shift Manager for backshift/afternoons, reporting to the Operations Manager, to lead all daily shift operations and ensure service levels meet KPIs.

You will manage the shift team, control costs, drive customer service, and ensure safe, policy-compliant operations across warehousing tasks within a busy distribution environment. Excellent leadership and readiness to develop your career are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry.
• Experience managing teams in fast-paced mail/distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehousing operation for the shift and ensure accurate sortation of goods.
• Manage costs and performance of the shift in a proactive manner.
• Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service.
• Monitor KPIs, identify actions and communicate improvements.
• Provide a shift summary and handover record with exceptions documented.
