Job summary

Chantlers Primary School in Bury is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Playworker to join our busy After School Club team. You will help create a safe, stimulating and fun environment where children can relax, play, and socialise after the school day ends. The role is part-time (10 hours per week), Monday to Friday 3:30pm-5:30pm, commencing 1 October 2026.

Salary starts from £6,164 depending on qualifications. Ideally you will hold a First Aid certificate and a Food Hygiene certificate, or be willing

Qualifications

• First aid certificate and food hygiene certificate preferred.
• Willingness to undertake training if not held.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare with DBS check.
