Job summary

The Bishop Fraser Trust is seeking a passionate Casual Maths Tutor for our Bolton academy. The role offers £30 per hour during term time with hours to be discussed at interview, typically between 3:00 and 5:00 pm.

You will provide maths support to secondary pupils, deliver prepared lesson plans, help students build confidence and work toward GCSE readiness in a vibrant, inclusive environment. Experience in tutoring or teaching is desirable.

Qualifications

• Possesses relevant qualifications and has experience in a similar environment.
• Manages student learning through effective delivery of provided lesson plans, ensuring continuity and progression.
• Contributes to raising standards of student attainment throughout the Academy.

Responsibilities

• Provide additional academic support in Mathematics to Secondary School students.
• Help pupils strengthen subject knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Build confidence in preparations for assessments and future studies.
