Job summary

The Bishop Fraser Trust is seeking a passionate Casual Maths Tutor for our Bolton academy. The role offers £30 per hour during term time with hours to be discussed at interview, typically between 3:00 and 5:00 pm.

You will provide maths support to secondary pupils, deliver prepared lesson plans, help students build confidence and work toward GCSE readiness in a vibrant, inclusive environment. Experience in tutoring or teaching is desirable.

Qualifications

• Possesses relevant qualifications and has experience in a similar environment.
• Manages student learning through effective delivery of provided lesson plans, ensuring continuity and progression.
• Contributes to raising standards of student attainment throughout the Academy.

We are a 3-16 all age fully inclusive Academy. Our school is on an exciting journey, and we are incredibly proud of the culture we are building here. We are looking for enthusiastic and supportive Maths tutors to help pupils working towards a Grade 5 at GCSE Mathematics. Sessions to be held ideally between 3 .00 5.00 pm, but days can be arranged to suit your availability.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD B E:

To provide additional academic support in Mathematics to Secondary School students, helping them strengthen subject knowledge, develop problem-solving skills, and build confidence in preparation for assessments and future studies.
