Nether Edge Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic practitioner to provide high quality support to children in our after school club. The role runs on Tue 3pm–4:30pm, Wed 3pm–5pm, Thu 3pm–4:30pm and Fri 3pm–4:30pm, over 39 weeks of the school year.

The right candidate will show a keen interest in children's development, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative, can-do attitude within our school community.

Job description

Salary FTE: Grade 3 £26,428 to £26,847

Actual salary: £3,993 to £4,056 (with under five years' service)

Contract term: 6.5 hours, 39 weeks, fixed term for one year

Start date: As soon as possible

Closing date: Midnight Sunday 13 September 2026

The role

Nether Edge Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner to provide high quality support to children in our after school club. The working hours for this role are Tuesday 3pm to 4.30pm, Wednesday 3pm to 5pm, Thursday 3pm to 4.30pm and Friday 3pm to 4.30pm.
