Job summary

Cumbria Education Trust in Carlisle is recruiting a dedicated person to support pupils at the after-school club. The role focuses on safe, engaging activities and positive pupil interactions after the school day.

Hours are 6.25 per week, Monday to Friday, 3:15pm to 4:30pm, with term weeks 38. DBS and Barred List checks are required and online checks may be carried out on successful candidates.

• Able to manage behaviour issues sensitively and effectively.

• Registering pupils who are attending after school club.
• Assisting with the appropriate care, control and supervision of pupils.
• Assist in the planning and organising of safe, creative, engaging and appropriate play activities.
• Maintain positive interactions with pupils and act as a role model.
• Liaise with parents.
