Job summary

REESON Education is recruiting an After School Club Assistant to provide safe, engaging supervision in primary school after-school clubs across Hertfordshire. The role is flexible, zero-hours, with sessions typically from 3pm to 6pm in various schools.

You will help run activities, manage behavior, and support children’s social interaction while adhering to school safeguarding procedures. Travel to different schools is involved.

Qualifications

• Previous After School Club Assistant, childcare or school experience, or relevant transferable experience working with children.
• Experience from youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, playwork, childcare or community activities can be considered.
• Friendly, reliable and confident supervising groups of children.
• Good communication and strong safeguarding awareness.
• Comfortable travelling to different schools for suitable bookings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children safely during the after-school period.
• Help organise games, creative activities and age-appropriate play.

• Maintain a welcoming, organised and safe club environment.

Reeson Education is recruiting an After School Club Assistant for flexible work across schools in Hertfordshire. This After School Club Assistant opportunity is offered on a flexible, zero-hours basis, allowing you to provide your availability and accept suitable afternoon bookings around other commitments.

What You'll Be Doing

• As an After School Club Assistant, supervise children safely during the after-school period.
• The After School Club Assistant will help organise games, creative activities and age-appropriate play.
