Job summary

Kington St Michael CE Primary School is seeking a warm, energetic after school club leader to run the daily programme for 4–11 year olds. This permanent, term-time role offers a supportive team and the chance to create engaging activities after the school day.

You'll supervise, plan activities, provide refreshments and ensure safety, with training including first aid and food-handling. 14-16 hours weekly, with potential extra hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children is essential.
• Experience with 4–11 age group preferred.
• Reliable, patient, energetic and creative.
• Full training including first aid and food-handling will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the After School Club, with support from the school.
• Welcome and care for children aged 4–11, organise engaging activities, supervise play and prepare refreshments.
• Ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for.
• Create a warm, positive and inclusive environment for end-of-day activities.
