Job summary

Redwood Clubs is seeking an After School Club Assistant to support our Holiday Club across Middleton and Rochdale Campuses. The role runs during school holidays, 9.30am to 3.15pm, with 8 weeks of activity.

You will help run engaging activities for children aged 4–18, work with a friendly team, and be involved in all aspects of the club’s preparation and delivery. Applicants should be reliable, energetic and able to use their initiative with a good sense of humour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children, ideally in an out of hours school setting.
• Safeguarding, Prevent training and First Aid will be organised if not already held.
• Ability to create a fun and safe environment for children aged 4–18.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear away equipment at the start and end of each session.
• Supervise children's activities and ensure safety at all times.
• Meet and greet parents and provide feedback on their child’s time at the club.
• Assist with planning activities and encourage creativity in play.
• Contribute to a fun, stimulating environment and participate in daily activities.
