Job summary

Ashbury CE Primary School is seeking a part-time after-school club assistant for 15 hours per week during term time. The role covers 07:30-08:30 and 15:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, and involves supporting play, safety, and basic administration.

You will work with the play leader to provide care and creative play, ensure children's wellbeing, help with handovers, maintain hygiene, assist with first aid and food prep in line with guidelines, and participate in training as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care and creative play opportunities.
• Knowledge of relevant childcare legislation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with provision of care and creative play opportunities in consultation with children.
• Deputise for the playleader when required.
• Assist with handover/collection of children to/from other areas of the school, ensuring safe handover to parents.
