Job summary

Peace Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Development Manager for an initial 3-6 month contract in the Scottish Borders. The role focuses on delivering affordable housing developments and major refurbishment projects, working with internal teams, local authorities, the Scottish Government and external contractors.

• Experience managing affordable housing development budgets and project reporting.
• Knowledge of procurement, feasibility studies and development appraisals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate affordable housing development and major refurbishment projects.
• Oversee feasibility studies, financial appraisals, planning and procurement processes.
• Handle Scottish Government grant funding applications, claims and reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate project budgets, financial forecasts and development programme reports.
• Liaise with local authorities, Scottish Government representatives, consultants and contractors.
• Support development proposals, investment appraisals and funding submissions.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with construction and finance teams to ensure project delivery.
