Job summary

Malloy Aeronautics Ltd. seeks an electronics engineer to design, develop and integrate electronic systems for unmanned aerial vehicles.

You will handle power distribution, flight interfaces and sensor integration, collaborating with software, mechanical and flight test teams to ensure system-level performance. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout with Altium/KiCad, hardware assembly and testing, and documenting design specs and test results.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and integrating electronic systems for UAV/aerospace
• Knowledge of PCB schematic capture and layout
• Hardware assembly, testing and debugging to validate functionality
• Power distribution, flight interface, and sensor integration experience
• Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration and technical communication skills
• Experience supporting customers and using feedback for improvements

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic systems for UAVs, including power distribution and interfaces
• Create and review schematics and PCB layouts using Altium or KiCad
• Assemble, test, and debug hardware for reliability
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and flight test teams for integration
• Support flight testing and troubleshooting
• Maintain design docs, test reports and wiring diagrams
• Contribute to component selection and power budgeting decisions
• Address field or production issues and propose improvements
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and potential innovations
