Job summary

Callen-Lenz in Salisbury, Wiltshire, is seeking an Electronics Systems Engineer to design, develop and verify electronic hardware for UAVs. You will engage across the full engineering lifecycle from requirements capture to production.

You should have a BSc/BEng/MEng in engineering, strong knowledge of analogue/digital electronics, PCB design and systems integration. The role requires clear documentation and collaboration across Systems, Software, Air Vehicle and Manufacturing teams, with travel

Qualifications

• BSc, BEng, MEng or equivalent qualification in an Engineering or Science related subject.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience designing, developing or integrating electronic hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and verification of electronic hardware and systems (analogue, digital, mixed-signal).
• Develop and support circuit and PCB/PCBA designs from concept to production.
• Define electronic interfaces between avionics, sensors, actuators and UAV systems.
• Perform component selection, reliability assessment and DFM/ DFA/ DfT considerations.
• Produce clear engineering documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
