Job summary

HR GO Group is seeking a skilled TIG Welder in Harlow to perform high-quality welds for aerospace components. You will read blueprints, follow safety protocols, inspect welds, and work with engineering and quality teams to meet project specs.

The role offers a permanent contract, with a competitive hourly rate (£17–£18.50) and opportunities for ongoing development within a supportive team in Essex.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with TIG welding.
• Welding qualification; BCAR A8-10 a plus; AWS D17.1 or BS EN9606 preferred; ability to obtain BCAR A8-10 approval.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred but not required.
• Hands-on skills for blend repairs and minor adjustments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Handle TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminium and titanium.
• Follow safety protocols while performing tasks.
• Keep accurate records of work and technical data used.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to meet specs.
• Inspect welds to ensure strength and durability.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to hit project goals.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
• Be ready to assist with other tasks as needed.
