Job summary

TT Electronics, Barnstaple, is hiring a Test & or Inspection Engineer to test and record manufactured or repaired products to internal or external specifications with high accuracy, using ATE or hand-test equipment.

Key responsibilities include timely testing/inspection within costed time frames, complying with General Manufacturing and aerospace controls, and maintaining a zero-defect attitude while driving improvements in a 6S environment.

Qualifications

• Must have safety focus and be a willing, competent team member.
• Willing to undertake an annual eye examination and colour blindness checks.
• Open to learning new skills and IPC 610/620 quality controls as required.
• Adherence to internal specifications, test programmes and drawings is essential.
• Ability to operate in a 6S environment with organised workflow.
• Zero defects, right first-time attitude and KPI awareness.

Responsibilities

• Test and/or inspect products in line with costed time constraints.
• Complete test or inspection tasks within a Quality Accredited environment per aerospace controls.
• Maintain zero tolerance to defects and drive continuous improvement.
