Job summary

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts, is recruiting an Electronic Test Equipment Engineer for its Bishops Cleeve site. You will fault find, repair, and maintain automated and manual test equipment to ensure high availability and reliability for aerospace manufacturing and repair processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven fault-finding experience on complex electronic equipment to component level.
• Experience maintaining automated electronic test equipment in a manufacturing setting; understand analogue and digital circuits.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, repair, maintain, and upgrade automated and manual electronic test equipment.
• Support production by ensuring test equipment availability and reliability.
• Assist with new product introductions and test capability improvements.
• Interpret electrical schematics and drawings; use test instruments, soldering, and rework as needed.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
