Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power is seeking a Test and Development Engineer for our Pitstone site. You will plan, organise and execute development and qualification tests on Safran products, working with high-speed drives and associated electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment, while maintaining testing capabilities.

You will analyze test results, identify trends, and propose solutions, with responsibilities spanning mechanical assembly, test rig modification, and installation of system wiring

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with test rigs and laboratory instrumentation.
• Knowledge of development engineering concepts and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute testing for development/qualification.
• Maintain and update test capabilities and rigs.
• Perform data analysis and identify trends to address issues.
• Install system wiring in test cells and modify test rigs as needed.
• Support electrical, mechanical and hydraulic testing of products.
