Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is seeking a Systems Hardware Engineer to join the SoftwareGateware & Electronics Hardware team in Bristol. The role spans electronics hardware and the broader product lifecycle, with opportunities to work on requirements management, architecture, integration, verification and validation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Equivalent relevant industry experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input across equipment-level systems and electronic hardware development activities.
• Plan and coordinate technical work packages to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support requirements development, systems architecture, interface definition, integration planning and verification activities.
• Contribute to the design, specification, verification and validation of electronic controllers for electromechanical aerospace systems.
• Support the development of engineering artefacts and technical evidence required throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.
