Job summary

The Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) SEIT team is seeking skilled Systems Engineers to translate customer needs into effective, verifiable solutions across Fixed Wing, Vertical Lift and Digital domains. You will work in a collaborative, safety‑minded environment focused on first‑time quality and technical excellence.

You will apply MBSE, manage requirements traceability, and support ITEA activities while contributing to continuous improvement and delivery of customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Systems Engineering principles across the delivery lifecycle, through requirements definition, integration, verification and acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage stakeholder, system and subsystem requirements with traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to system architectures and engineering solutions using MBSE, trade studies and technical analysis.
• Support the planning and execution of Integration, Test, Evaluation and Acceptance (ITEA) activities.
• Develop and maintain technical baselines, supporting configuration management and change control.
• Produce and maintain Systems Engineering artefacts, technical documentation and lifecycle evidence.
• Support technical management activities, including reporting, metrics, risk, issue and opportunity management.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver programme objectives.
• Apply Systems Engineering processes, standards and best practices to ensure quality and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering methods, tools and ways of working.
• Share knowledge and promote a culture of safety, quality, integrity and technical excellence.
