Job summary

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) SEIT is seeking Systems Engineers to translate customer needs into effective solutions within a collaborative, safety‑driven engineering environment in the United Kingdom. You will support business development, proposals, and verified outcomes across Fixed Wing, Vertical Lift and Digital domains.

You will develop requirements, contribute to architectures, manage baselines, and produce engineering artefacts while working with customers and suppliers to meet programme

Qualifications

• Experience applying Systems Engineering across the delivery lifecycle.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver complex systems.
• Ability to capture, analyse, decompose and manage requirements with traceability.
• Knowledge of systems architecture, interfaces, integration and V&V activities.
• Experience using requirements management tools (IBM DOORS, DOORS Next or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage stakeholder, system and subsystem requirements with traceability.
• Contribute to system architectures and engineering solutions using MBSE, trade studies and technical analysis.
• Support planning and execution of Integration, Test, Evaluation and Acceptance activities.
• Develop and maintain technical baselines, supporting configuration management and change control.
• Produce and maintain Systems Engineering artefacts and lifecycle evidence.
• Support technical management activities including reporting, metrics, risk, issue and opportunity management.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver programme objectives.
• Apply Systems Engineering processes, standards and best practices to ensure quality and compliance.
• Promote safety, quality, integrity and technical excellence.
