Job summary

The Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) SEIT team is seeking a Systems Engineer to translate customer needs into effective solutions using MBSE and model-based approaches. You will work with cross-functional teams to support business development, develop proposals and deliver verified engineering outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience applying MBSE and modelling tools to support requirements development and system architecture.
• Proficient in requirements management with traceability and change control.
• Exposure to C3I systems, governance and change management activities.
• Ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine requirement specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Support MBSE-based system solutions and defined work packages.
• Create plans and artefacts for ITEA activities and document inputs.
• Maintain technical baselines and configuration control across stakeholders.
• Produce management plans, schedules and reports with increasing autonomy.
• Contribute to governance, metrics, risk management and team tasking.
• Prepare inputs for customer representatives and partners; support engagement.
• Apply best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
